Nigerian socialite based in Dubai, Hushpuppi is set to face trial after he was arrested in Rambo style by FBI and Dubai Police in his house in Dubai.
Hushpuppi born Ramon Abass was arrested in an operation the Dubai Police termed as ‘Fox Hunt’ after months of tracing and monitoring on June 9.
Dubai Police and FBI also arrested 8 of his accomplices who were also with during the operation seizing multiple items including 13 luxurious cars, 47 smartphones, laptops, and others.
A footage of the arrest was shared by the Dubai Police revealing how the arrest was made.
It was revealed that the affluent Instagram celebrity scammed over 1.9 million people as he hacked into the accounts of individuals and companies and wire funds directly into his account.
However, we have every reason to believe that Hushpuppi perhaps saw bad omen crawling up to his residence.
In a post he made on his Instagram page which is supposedly her last post 24 hours before he was apprehend in his luxurious mansion, Hushpuppi thanked God for his blessings and prophesied that his success will not be a one-day wonder but forever.
He also charged God to put to shame all those who are wishing his downfall.
The socialite wrote,
May success and prosperity not be a “once upon a time” story in your life… . Thank you lord for the many blessings in my life continue to shame those waiting for me to be shamed.
He said this as he shared a photo of the latest Rolls Royce Cullinan he had acquired on his Instagram page on June 6.
