A fan of the vociferous Shatta Movement Empire has expressed his displeasure after his champion’s feature with the most popular American singer, Beyonce was compared to just a phone call between the dancehall act, Larrusso, and the Senegalese-American singer, Akon.

Yesterday, a video surfaced on social media which captures the moment Larruso was having a video call conversation with Akon. This sounded like the biggest endorsement for the young dancehall musician to interact with a legend like Akon. Some of his fans have already drawn the line between just a phone call and a whole collaboration deal between Shatta Wale and Beyonce.
As a reminder, Shatta Wale has one of the biggest collaborations in Ghana after he was featured on Beyonce’s “Lion King” album. Earlier, the music video was nominated as the “ Best Art Director ” of the year in this year’s MTV Video Music Awards 2021.
Well, a fan of Shatta Wale has stated that it is a gross disrespect to the Shatta Movement Empire to be comparing his international collabo with just a phone call from another big star.
