International Senegalese -born American singer, Akon has revealed how the news of the break up of top Nigerian music group, P-Square affected him.
In an interview with Channels Television on the sidelines of the Expo 2020 in Dubai published by Gistreel.com, Akon revealed that the news about P-Square’s split broke his heart.
He attributed P-Square’s fallout to pressure in their careers and relationship and he bemoaned the fact that they are brothers from the same womb therefore he does not believe money should cause problems between them.
Akon said, “It broke my heart because we are family. These are brothers and they shared the same womb and I always felt money should not get in between them.
“It was being together that made them who they were. But sometimes you have differences [between people from the same] family and there are other aspects of it – there is pressure in the music business, there is a lot of pressure in relationships
In other news, a nearly embarrassing moment was witnessed at the O2 Arena over the weekend during the epic performance of Nigerian Afrobeat superstar, Wizkid and his protégé, Tems.
