Ghana’s quest to annex the AFCON trophy suffered a huge jolt when Tunisia, a team that has not beaten the Black Stars for a very long time, bundled the team out of the competition sending waves of shock and disappointment across the whole of Ghana.
We at www.Ghgossip.com vividly recall that when Ghana beat Guinea Bissau soundly in their last group match, Ghanaian prophet, Rev. Owusu Bempah predicted that Ghana will bring the trophy home to which he subsequently entreated everyone to pray for the team.
Admittedly, he told reporters that his prediction is not based on any prophetic premise but his own perspective as an ordinary supporter of the team.
“Each and every Ghanaian must pray for our Black Stars because we are winning this afternoon’s game and subsequently end our trophy drought and so I am hopeful that Ghana will win against Guinea-Bissau and bring the cup home,” he said.
When asked if it is a prophecy or not, he added; “this prediction is my opinion and I believe in it but it is not a revelation or a prophecy but I want Ghanaians to believe and it would happen.”
