The issue of the Takoradi pregnant woman is gradually getting intense as more information keeps popping out from the case.
In a new development, the husband of the alleged kidnapped pregnant woman, Simon Michael, and her mother Agnes Essel have been picked up by the police as accomplices. According to 3news.com, the husband and his mother-in-law are suspected to have aided Josephine in faking her kidnap.

The husband and mother of the kidnapped pregnant woman were arrested to aid the investigation as the police have tagged them as accomplices. The news of their arrest was reportedly confirmed by Justice Acquah, an aide to the Western Regional Minister Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah.
“Because it was a syndicate. It was well planned. One person cannot stage a kidnapping. He had accomplices who helped in ensuring that they carry out their ideas successfully,” Acquah was quoted as saying.
Kidnapped Pregnant woman Josephine Payin Mensah was reported missing a week ago after her family stated that she was kidnapped by unknown men while she was going for her routine daily walk around dawn.

Five days after her disappearance, she was found by a carpenter at the Western Part of Ghana, Nzema without her baby bump. This has led to the confusion of her kidnapped case.
