Award-winning Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Livingstone Etse Satekla, well known as Stonebwoy has engaged his loyal fans on Twitter in a conversation about how to erase crime from the street especially among teenagers.

This comes after the numerous crimes and killings recorded in the country over the past few months. Stonebwoy poured out his sentiments about the rise in crimes in the country and what Ghanaians need to do to put an end to it.

As usual, some of his fans disagreed with Stonebwoy over his method of getting rid of crimes in the country.

According to Stonebwoy, it’s an organized Movement by these street kids to harass pressure, and steal from motorists in the name of hustle especially on weekends and this is some high level of threat to our security.

A fan expressed his displeasure in some of the popular slogans people use to justify the crimes they commit on the street. The fan replied Stonebwoy by saying that we live in a country where the only slogan we de move with be survival of the fittest including this little children.

Some called on influential celebrities like Stonebwoy himself to use their voice to address issues that bothers the average Ghanaian because they use their blood and sweat to support them in achieving their goals in their career.

They believe that Stonebwoy and other celebrities have the mandate to effect change by calling on politicians to check the rise in crime rates in the country but they are timid of the political establishment.

In response to that, Stonebwoy made it clear that the fact that he is from the street doesn’t mean he encourages crime, adding that politicians have no hand in the increase of crime rates in the country.
