Efia Odo has been at the mercy of all those who oppose the #FixTheCountry since she has been one of its strong members, serving as the voice of the people.

Earlier, she took to her Facebook to lament how people intend to control her social media by telling her what to post and what not to post simply because she is fighting for the right of Ghanaians.

She then revealed her intentions not to post anything on her social media pages since she is always criticized for her posts on the #FixTheCountry campaign.

Well, Efia Odo has finally decided to take a break from the #FixTheCountry campaign because the circumstances are too much for her to bear, adding that her mental health is at stake.

According to her, her intentions to fight for the country and humanity have done her more harm than good, thus she is going on Haitus.

She wrote; “I will like to take this time to let you all know that I’m going on a Haitus. My mental health is at stake at the moment. My love for this country and humanity has turned into something I am not, political. I am of peace and equality. My heart and intention are pure as Gold. Things are too heavy for me right now. Take Care.”

In reaction to that, Lydia Forson has applauded Efia Odo for considering herself and her mental health before taking some time off the protest.

She said that the fact that Efia Odo is taking some time off doesn’t mean she is weak. She also lambasted all those mocking her on social media.

You’re not weak for recognizing when things have gotten too much for you to handle; in fact it takes strength to appreciate that you need some time off. So I applaud Efia for putting herself and her mental health first. To the many who’re mocking her, mo gyimii saaa waii, she wrote on Twitter.
