Rufftown records signee, Kiki Marley has spoken about the moment she tried committing suicide.
The beautiful female musician who recent signed unto Bullet’s Rufftown Records Label spoke about this when she appeared in the studios of Hitz FM.
Speaking with Andy Dosty, she said;
“I attempted committing suicide because I was frustrated and depressed – My music career after school wasn’t souring – I was living in the ghetto. A whole lot of things.”
In the same interview, she revealed what she did to get the attention of Bullet. She said;
“Joining Rufftown Records wasn’t easy — I was a big fan of Ebony. When her debut album’s art cover was released, I noticed that Bullet wrote most of the songs. I sent him a DM but he didn’t reply. I had to do something to gain his attention.
I had to tattoo Bullet’s name on my ribs to get his attention. I had to move to Accra from Kumasi to be able to work with Rufftown Records effectively.”
