Award-winning Ghanaian dancehall musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah Jnr., well known as Shatta Wale has debunked claims made by the Ghana Police Service that he was arrested.

According to him, he deliberately reported himself to the police station following the ongoing brouhaha about him being shot by some unknown gunmen at East Legon.
Shatta Wale’s arrest comes after his PR, Nana Dope circulated on the digital platform that the musician has been shot by some unknown persons in his neighborhood at East Legon.
Nana Dope who has also been apprehended by the police this evening revealed that Shatta Wale was fighting for his life at a private hospital. Well, it appeared that the dancehall musician only aimed at causing fear and panic on social media following a doom prophecy made by Jesus Ahuofe, a well-known prophet in Ghana.
Jesus Ahuofe was picked up earlier by the police on the premises of Accra FM this morning. Kojo Owusu Koranteng, also known as Nana Dope, Eric Venator alias Gangee, and Shatta Wale himself have also been arrested by the police.
