The Trending topic in Ghana is the CSE; the Comprehensive sekzuality Education. The Minister for Education Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh says Ghana will get to a point of adopting the Comprehensive sekzuality Education, but it will be very reflective on our Ghanaian Culture.
Many Ghanaians are against GES introducing this CSE into the Curriculum giving various reasons. Ivan Quarshigah, a film maker, director, producer and CEO of Farmhouse Productions, producers of popular TV series YOLO has been talking about the introduction of the Comprehensive sekzuality Education in our schools starting from Primary 1.
On JOY FM, he said,
“The television shows you watch have explicit scenes and you just tell your children to close their eyes at a point. Are you helping them? It is sad! In YOLO, we wanted to educate and entertain people. I think with the target audience the message went down well “.
He continued,
” If I was given the chance to create content for the CSE I would do it”
