Ghanaian actress Bibi Bright has revealed she is willing to switch to the National Democratic Congress (NDC) or any other party should the New Patriotic Party (NPP) fail.

The actress who vividly campaigned for the NPP during the 2016 elections disclosed, she joined in the crusade for change because she felt “Ghanaians wanted someone to speak up for them.”

Bibi Bright, in a conversation with MzGee on the Gee Spot on JoyPrime TV, claimed she did not receive money for her support for the NPP campaign and hence, not obliged to stay with them when their performance is not satisfactory.

She disclosed she will switch camps if the need be.

“I am happy that the NPP didn’t offer me anything. I’m happy I never asked for something and wasn’t given anything. If anything happens to the NPP party right now and NDC or any other political party is selling a better message that I think will benefit Ghanaians, I can shift and I’m not a traitor.”

The actress who is also an executive secretary of the Creative Arts Council and an ambassador for Youth Employment Agency emphasized that she was not ready to receive cash from the party even if they made the attempt because her quest to support the party was born out of selfishness.

The ‘Lost in his glory’ actress added “I met His Excellency [President Akufo-Addo] the first-ever since I campaigned for him, just this Easter. When I endorsed him, I never went to his office, I just went straight to work.”
