Captain of the senior national team, Baby Jet also known as Asamoah Gyan has admitted to how he consults spiritual men, pastors and mallams before he gets on the football pitch since the game on its own is a spiritual affair.
He told the controversial Delay on the Delay show how he has his own spiritual Godfather and how consulting a mallam is no sin because they are just like pastors but in the Islamic religion.
“You can’t just rise up and say you’re going to play football because it is a spiritual exercise. You will need spiritual fortitude before you get into play and it’s not just for football but every other work”.
