Female Ghanaian singer Cina Soul has blown the curtains open that indeed all is not to be well with her and her record label, Universal Music Group.

Many Ghanaians and music lovers who listen to the sweet and melodious works from the female sensational singer begun wondering why the singer has not been releasing projects since she got signed to Universal Music Group a couple of years ago.

Cina Soul came into the Ghanaian music scene through the famous music reality show, Vodafone Ghana Music Icons after she made it to the finals in the 2014 edition of the show. Her hard work and dedication earned her a contract with the Universal Music Group in 2018 after releasing a couple of singles and mashups and a studio album.

Rumors sparked that the ‘Awo’ hitmaker was having issues with her label when the record label decided to move from Ghana to Nigeria shortly after signing her to a record deal. Cina Soul released her first single ’12:01′ under the label of which she later went silent.

In an exclusive interview with renowned disc jockey and rapper Andy Dosty this morning on the ‘Day Break Hitz’ morning show on Hitz FM, Cina revealed that she has been dealing with a lot of mental battles with regards to the contract he signed with the record label.

She said although she doesn’t want to spill out some issues going on with her and the record label, she’s glad she’s coming out of that contract and that her newly released song titled ‘Feelings’ which features KiDi was not released under the record label.
