Kwame Kyei the artist for Shatta Wale’s reign album cover has said he is not bothered that people are saying he stole the concept from Rick Ross’ album.

According to the brain behind the artwork for Shatta Wale’s upcoming album cover, he is not bothered by accusations of plagiarism.

Entertainment observers however immediately connected Shatta’s album cover with that of a cover from Rick Ross.

US rapper Rick Ross’ ninth studio album, “Rather You Than Me” came out in 2017. Its cover shows Ross against a blackboard background with spray-writing of his the tracks on the album.

Kwame Kyei speaking to Sammy Flex on Showbiz Agenda on Zylofon 102.1 FM said the allegations do not bother him at all.

He reportedly said: “It doesn’t bother me at all that people think it is a copied work, at least I know it has made some impact”.

“I didn’t steal the concept. My inspiration is art. I only blended photo with writing”.
