Popular young musician, Awal, has revealed that, he never received any prize after placing second at the just ended MTN Hitmaker talent show.
Awal, who was once part of the contestants for TV3’s ‘Talented Kidz’ program is of the view that, the winner takes all strategy doesn’t help, as he laid emphasis on the fact that, he received nothing after being the second best in the MTN Hitmaker talent show.
” I didn’t get any prize for placing second at MTN Hitmaker. I think the strategy of winner-takes-all isn’t good. As a finalists, we also deserved a prize, to kick start our careers “, Awal said in a recent interview.
