One-time VGMA’s Reggae/Dancehall artiste of the year, Kojo Kurankye, well known as Ras Kuuku has revealed that he never knew of Joe Mettle until he won the Artiste of the year in 2017’s VGMAs.

Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Ras Kuuku said; “Me, Kojo Kurankye I never knew Joe Mettle until he won the Artiste of the Year”.
This comes after Ras Kuuku in a post he made on his Facebook page inquired if the Ghana music award scheme belonged to Joe Mettle since he has never missed out on nominations, especially in the Artiste of the yea category.
He wrote; “Ghana Music Industry, please I want to ask one question. Does the award scheme belong to Joe Mettle? Aaaaahba”.
Well, this year, Joe Mettle secured another nomination for himself in some categories including the Artiste of the year category where he will be competing with King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Kidi, and Black Sherif for the prestigious award.
In other news, Ghanaian socialite, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, well known as Afia Schwarzenegger has revealed that she was only being sarcastic when she claimed she was given GHc50,000 by the Chief of Saff, Hon. Frema Opare.
Afia Schwarzenegger sparked reactions on social media after she claimed she was given a donation of GHc50,000 by the Chief of Staff for her father’s burial.
She was being chided by concerned Ghanaians within the digital space after it was reported that her claims were not accurate. An official statement released from the office of the Chief of Staff stated that the subject has not made any donation of that sort.
While hosting the United Showbiz aired on UTV, Afia Schwarzenegger in order to save herself from the constant bashing and criticism from Ghanaians explained that she was only being sarcastic when she made that statement.
