Speaking in an interview with Andy Dosty on Hitz FM’s Daybreak Hitz, Donzy who once vowed not to pay any toll at the Accra-Tema Motorway until the road is fixed said that he believes the introduction of the e-levy to replace the tolling system is a new way to effect changes in the country.
He also added that even if he wants to oppose the e-levy scheme, his sentiments and displeasure will not stop the government from carrying out the rest of their initiative.
“I will pay; I don’t have any problem. I’m cool with whatever happens. Whatever I say will not change anything. They will still go ahead and do it,” he said.
However, the parliament has finally approved the e-levy bill and this is said to take effect in May.
