One musician who does not cease to amaze us is Wanluv the Koborlor. The man who has achieved much fame not to with his music but his antics and air of controversies that surrounds him, we are still intrigued when he says something or engages in weird behaviors over and over again.
Wanluv, born Emmanuel Owusu-Bonsu has added another pronouncements to his enviable list of eye catching statements. Over the weekend, he disclosed to Accra FM during an interview that he dropped out of tertiary education because of sakawa.
Sakawa is local term for cyber fraud. It is mostly done by the youth, majority of whom are unemployed. Wanluv said he ventured into the money making enterprise because of high standard living and since he couldn’t combine his studies with sakawa, he had no option to drop out of school. He however stated his version of sakawa was devoid of rituals.
