Veteran Ghanaian Kumawood actor, Alex Adu Kofi, well known in the movie scene as Agya Koo has revealed that there are plans and schemes being nurtured by himself and some industry players to revive the Kumawood movie industry.

Speaking in an interview with the blogger, Boateng Ameyaw, the legendary actor intimated that most people have the perception that the move industry has collapsed due to its inability to produce contents as they used to but such claims holds no substance.
Agya Koo stated that most actors and actresses have all ventured into YouTube just for them to keep their talents alive and also to continue to make a living out of their crafts but he is currently making plans to revive the movie industry and get it running again.
He told Ameyaw that he has nothing against movie stars channeling to their attention to YouTube and other social media platforms but there are initiates and interventions ongoing to revive the Ghana movie industry.
