Diamond Appiah and Mzbel used to be great friends until ‘their center could no longer hold,’ and started trading insults in the media.

During the recent Golden Movie Awards, MzGee of Joy News caught up with Diamond and asked her if she and Mzbel could ever be friends again, to which she answered in the negative.

Diamond said:

“No, I don’t think there would be a day like that. I don’t have any problem with her, I have forgiven her, I have moved on.

She is not the type of person I would love to hang around with me again. I am very honest and straight forward, I don’t hide my feelings.”

She also denied mocking Mzbel over bleaching. She admitted she used Mzbel’s image because it came across as the best to suit her message.

She said:

“It was a general advice. I didn’t mention her name in my post, it is unfortunate that the bloggers twisted it.

I was looking for a picture on the net that will bring meaning to my post and unfortunately that picture was circulating online that week so I saw and I was like wow, this might match my caption so I used that picture but I didn’t mention her name.”

Responding to questions about her music which seems ‘dead,’ she said:

“I haven’t said bye bye to music. I would always record something in the future but for now, I’m doing business. I am still an entertainer and entertainer don’t retire, I will drop something soon but it would be very different from what I used to do”.

Now I am more matured so if I’m going to put something out, it gonna be matured kind of music not the ‘come and taste my apple’ kind, I am leaving that for the Ebony’s they are the bad girls now so now I’m gonna put something out for the matured.
