Singer Kuame Eugene has said he really cares about the wellbeing of former record label mate Mazvee, reason why he wrote and produced some of her songs for her when she was still at Lynx Entertainment.
His comment comes after Mzvee, after a hiatus from the music scene, surfaced recently to reveal how she battled with depression silently and the fact that Kuame Eugene has been indifferent since she made that statement.
He said: “I care about MzVee. If not, I wouldn’t have written ‘Daavi’ and ‘Come and See My Moda’ and even produced the song at 3 am instead of sleeping.”
“So, I love MzVee that much. I think about her a lot. I don’t think she has to show gratitude to me. She doesn’t owe me one. She should just be herself.”
