Ghanaian Movie Producer, Samuel Nyamekye has recently showered praises on Veteran Actress, Mercy Asiedu for her dedication to the industry even though her beginning was very small and most people expected the least of her.

Speaking in an interview with Zionfelix on the Uncut show, the CEO of Miracle Films narrated how the celebrated actress emerged into the movie industry.
He said that the popular Kumawood movie “Asoreba” which is one of the captivating movies in the industry was the actress’s first movie.
Samuel Nyamekye said that the actress who was to play the role Mercy Asiedy played as “Asabia” refused to participate over some money issues and one of the directors suggested they go for Mercy Asiedu who has never been on set before.
With the help of Jackson K. Bentum, Mercy Asiedu was brought on set and the movie was a huge success.
He also expressed his gratitude to Nana Ama Mcbrown who also made the movie a success and the Kumawood movie industry great.
