Apparently you saw this coming-right? Medikal has opened a can of worms and now the stink is getting right up into his nostrils. His comment about saving the supposedly dying rap music in Ghana has caused so much outraged amongst a cross section of netizens so much that and he’s still being roasted on social media despite the fact that the comment was made almost two weeks ago.
Although some top rappers like M.anifest, Sarkodie, Obrafour and EL are yet to comment about his ‘volatile’ comment, former SarkCess Music signee, Strongman has been taking him on lately.
Strongman believes MDK goofed big time with his comment and should have left the public to make that decision and not himself, that was what he said in a previous interview.
He then again explained in a fresh interview that MDK did not release enough rap songs to scoop that award compared to him though he wasn’t nominated at that category.
“In my mind, I deserved it but I wasn’t nominated for the rapper of the year. Since I wasn’t part, I opted for anyone to win. I really did a lot of rap but I received fewer nominations. I expected to be in the best rapper category even though I was nominated once,” he noted.
