An unidentified convict who was part of the prisoners who broke jail in Benin after some hoodlums attack the prison officers has shared his story on how he ended up in cells.
The man who was captured in a video talking to an anonymous person revealed that he was wrongly accused of murder and jailed in 2016.
According to him, he was on his farm farming when he was arrested and framed up for killing someone, a crime he knew nothing about.
“Since 2016, I no do anything, na farm I dey farm for village. Them come arrest me.
They put allegation for my head say I kill person. No court case. No nothing” he lamented.
