Ghanaian Dancehall artist, Shatta Wale has added a new twist to his infamous brawl he had with long time rival, Stonebwoy at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards at the AICC.
Speaking to seasoned journalist and ace broadcaster Paul Adom Okyere on Good Evening Ghana programme which was aired on Metropolitan TV last night, the controversial Dancehall artist said he was actually going to the washroom when he inadvertently ended up on stage.
When Paul drew his attention to the fact that he told the whole of Ghana in a previous interview that he said he was going to congratulate Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale replied by saying Ghanaians never believed him when he said he was merely going to congratulate Stonebwoy so now he has changed the narrative.
The controversial artist also reiterated that his business on stage was not to ferment trouble because he was unarmed and equally got surprised by the sudden turn of even after the fight broke out.
The Dancehall Naa as his official title goes said the organisers of the VGMA did not handle the issue well in the aftermath so he wouldn’t be bothered if his ban remains indefinite.
