Today marks exactly 7-years since the untimely demise of Mrs Cecelia Gyan, mother of Ghana’s all time leading goalscorer, Asamoah Gyan.
As it has become his ritual, the former skipper of the Black Stars took to social media to eulogize his late mum.
The late Madam Cecilia died after she was involved in a ghastly accident 7 years ago after she drove her vehicle into a pillar at the Teachers’ Hall in Accra.
She was rushed to the Ridge Hospital where she died. Madam Cecilia was believed to be in her late fifties.
She was the Headmistress of the Mataheko cluster of schools in Accra.
