Multiple award winning rapper Sarkodie signed songwriter and artist Akwaboah some years back unto his record label Sarkcess Entertainment but the two artist parted ways last year.
In a recent interview on GBC Radio Central hosted by Amansan Krakye, the singer and songwriter Akwaboah was quizzed if he had plans of going back to his former record label SarkCess entertainment. In response, he told the host that he doesn’t have plans of going back to the record label but rather he wants to do his personal stuffs by himself.

“For now, I’d prefer to do so many things on my own, instead of going back to being under the Sarkcess Music record label. So it’s always moving ahead”.
Akwaboah was signed unto the Sarkcess entertainment record label in 2016 and later parted ways with the record label on 2019 to operate his own record label Akwaboah Music.
