Gospel musician, Evangelist Diana Asamoah has written Campaign Songs for NPP over the years. When asked by Abeiku Santana on the Atuu Show why she has written any song for NDC, she said she hasn’t been approached yet.
“I would gladly write and sing a campaign song for NDC if they approach me to do so, but i have to be directed by the Holy Spirit”
She continued,
“I did a song for the NPP because i was approached and as well i prayed to God and was given clearance to go ahead and do the song for NPP, and so when NDC too approached me, i would first pray about it, and when i receive the go-ahead, why not? i would do a song for them too.”
According to her, Nana Addo implementing the Free SHS alone has reduced burden on parents and so voters should rethink and retain Nana Addo in the 2020 elections.
She said,
“When NDC was in power, almost everytime people would call me asking me for help to pay for their wards fees, but eversince Nana Addo came to power and implemented the Free SHS policy, i no longer get bombarded with calls of such nature.”
