He made this statement in reaction to the call for Actress and Socialite, Akuapem Poloo to be released from police custody after she was remanded and waiting for her sentence on Friday, 16 April.
According to Kwadwo Sheldon, if Akuapem Poloo has pleaded guilty to all the charges leveled against her, why would Ghanaians fight the law which aims at correcting her for doing that.
He said that Akuapem Poloo has admitted to breaking the law and so, there is no need for Ghanaians to attack the law she deliberately broke.
He wrote; “If Akuapem Poloo admitted she broke the law, why are you people attacking the law?”
Recall in 2020, the actress shared a naked photo of herself alongside her son on her 7th birthday. She was criticized for her actions by many as she now faces the law for her actions.
However, on 14 April 2021, Akuapem Poloo was convicted by the Accra Circuit court presided over by Her Honor Christina Cann. She is being charged with the publication of obscene materials and undermining the integrity of her son.
The court ordered that a pregnancy test be conducted on the actress before her final sentence. Ghanaians have opined against the idea to jail the actress as they appeal to the authorities to pardon her.
According to them, her son will not be able to survive psychologically and the trauma that comes with her having his mother in jail.
