As we are all aware, the country is currently facing an erratic power supply but the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) keeping hiding in the shadows rather than facing the fact that the country is reverting to its “Dumsor” days.

The authorities have come out with numerous statements explaining the reason behind the continuous power outages in the country rather than accepting the fact.

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has come out to say that the only way to resolve the power distribution problems in the country is money. According to the company, it needs money to carry out its operational duties.

The Grid Company Limited (GRIDCo) has revealed that it needs to fix and replace some of its transmission lines to allow the smooth flowing of power, hence, it has released a timetable to show how power will be distributed until the problem is resolved.

Well, Efia Odo has taken to her social media to express her displeasure in the situation the country is facing for the past few months.

She took to her Twitter and wrote; If it’s not dumsor then it’s nsuodum!

In other news, Fast-rising artiste, Kwame Yogot has admitted that he is the longest-serving underground artiste in Ghana.

Speaking in an interview on Kastle FM, Kwame Yogot said that he has served as an underground artiste for 11 years before hitting the mainstream.

He revealed that he has collaborated with a lot of big musicians in the industry like the legendary Castro De Destroyer but he was still considered as an underground musician until his recent hit with Kuami Eugene titled “Biibi Besi” rose him to prominence.
