The journalist went bonkers after D-Black tagged her tweet to the president as disrespectful. On 6th March 2021, the president gave a speech where in the process he said ‘We Freed our Nation’. The line sparked rage in Bridget who tweeted at the president asking “You and who freed our nation”.

Reacting to her tweet, D-Black wrote “Isn’t this tad disrespectful?”. A follower of Bridget first slammed him for tagging it disrespectful and preventing her from questioning the president.

She wrote;

“So Ghanaians can no longer question their President because it’s Akuffo-Addo in power?. Ghana is in this mess because of hypocrites like you who have sold their conscience for a pittance.”

D-Black explained that he was trained to give respect to elders and leaders in the community. His reply seem to have cut through Bridget’s gut as she came in with a reply which questions the rapper’s intelligence as well as doubts he is training his daughter well.
