Controversial social commentator and lawyer, Reno Omokri has cautioned people against the way they are praised by their colleague workers at their workplace.

Sighted on his Twitter page, Reno Omokri pointed out that it is not everyone who praises you when you succeed is for you as some of them fake their happiness for you.

The former presidential aide stated that when your colleague showers praises on you so much that it makes your boss feel insignificant or less, then that colleague is your enemy who wants your downfall.

He used the Saul and David story in the Holy Bible to make his illustration as he posited that the song Israelites sang for David after he successfully killed Goliath brought enmity between Davido and Saul as the Israelite compared the two soldiers saying killed thousands whereas David killed ten thousands.

“Any colleague who praises you to your boss in ways that makes you appear even greater than that boss is a sly enemy. Remember it was the song ‘Saul has slain his thousands, and David his tens of thousands’ that brought enmity between Saul and David
