Some Ghanaian pastors are always in the news for both the good and bad reasons. Some may also be in the news for controversial reasons as well. Two of such pastors are Bishop Obinim, aka Angel Obinim and Rev. Obofour.
These two are in news today not for controversial reasons, and we wouldn’t say they are in the news for the good or bad reasons either. They are in the news today, because a TV presenter has vowed never to attend their churches.
Shirley Fatima Tibillah, a TV presenter has ‘vowed’ never to attend the churches of these two pastors, especially Bishop Obinim. She made the revelation in an interview with ZionFelix.
When the presenter asked that, does she believe in Bishop Obinim, she said “…I don’t know if he (Bishop Obinim) is called by God…, I don’t know him on a personal level, but with some of his doctrines I have heard, I don’t agree with everything he does…”
Asked if she would ever go to their churches, she said it depends on what she is going to there, adding that to go and worship there, she would have to feel ‘led’ in her spirit before she go.
Known in showbiz circles as CookieGH, she would be the new host of ‘Tales From The Powder Room’, which is aired on GHOne TV from 19th September, 2018.
