Njambi said in an interview recently sighted on Ghbase.com that her decision to come out and open up on her se.xuality is to create awareness.

However, she lamented over how men have constantly broken her heart in her previous relationships therefore no one should judge her over her decision,

“As Denis Karari says, lets not judge people based on who they love. It doesn’t mean am a bad person, I am not stealing nor killing someone.. people say LGBT members are bad.

Why bother about my life? Let us just accept LGBT persons, love is love,” Njambi said.

The actress is vocal in advocating for LGBT rights amid harsh criticism in the African society.

“Am open-minded. I believe that love is love, and we are allowed to love who we want regardless of the gender.”

Here, she revealed how she was trolled on social media for saying she loves girls.

“These things are normal.. Guys traumatized me, society kills people so much.”

Njambi also recognizes some challenges that members of the LGBT community experience at a family level.

” Some are isolated by their families, taken for prayers.. or even chased away from their homes. Africans make it feel like it’s a bad thing to love someone of the same gender. Like it’s a sin,” Njambi shared.
