'I'm Concentrating On Politics Now, Don't Have Time For The Pastors'- Kennedy Agyapong

Lawmaker, Kennedy Ayapong has said he has no plans to pursue the exposés any longer as he’s now concentrating on politics since we have barely five months to the general Presidential and Parliamentary elections.

He further stressed that he has not said anywhere that he was going after Bishop Nicholas Duncan Williams and Bishop Charles Agyin Asare as purported by David Annan, the host of ‘The Seat’. The Assin Central MP has consequently warned David Annan and his other employees at Net2 TV not to grant any further interviews in that regard that will tarnish his image in this electioneering year.

‘Sometimes the NPP I don’t know what is wrong with them. If you get information can’t you ascertain whether it’s true or not? You don’t authenticate your information and you call me to attack me. Why will we do this to ourselves. I’ve been here thinking about myself for the past three weeks. So they cannot even tell that I’ve not spoken on Radio and Television for the past three weeks?’, he charged.

‘The Seat’ is a programme designed to expose all fake of men of God with irrefutable evidence in a bit to restore sanity into Christendom. So far the likes of Bishop Daniel Obinim, Emmanuel Badu Kobi, Cecilia Marfo, and Prophet Nigel Gaisie have been exposed to be charlatans on the programme.

On the flipside, Kennedy Agyapong reacted to the ongoing hubbub created since the leader of the opposition party, John Dramani Mahama announced Jane Naana Opoku Agyemang as his partner for the 2020 polls.

While some key functionaries of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) have launched scathing attack on her personality, Kennedy Agyapong took a softer approach by saying Naana’s credentials won’t be compared to the Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia but rather Napo.

‘We will compare Jane Naana to Napo and not Bawumia. We will do that to see her competence as an Education Minister and that of NAPO who has performed creditably well since taking office as the Minister for Education’, he said in a phone interview.
