According to Lydia Forson, she was driving through Accra when a driver driving a posh vehicle decided to cross her wrongly in traffic. She said when she refused to give way to the driver, the driver attempted to bribe his way through by giving 5 Ghana Cedis to the boys around to be given to her.

She added that she refused the 5 Ghana Cedis bribery from the driver and when he attempted to cross her again, she blocked him. She continued that the driver rolled down to speak to her and to her surprise, it was a former presidential candidate behind the wheel.

The female activist stated she’s glad the presidential candidate lost the elections he contested for because she couldn’t imagine a person like that at the presidency of the country.

She explained that although she didn’t mind him crossing her, she had a problem with the way he did it. First, he tried to force his way, and when that didn’t work he tried to bribe his way through and then later tried to appeal to her when it’s what he should have done first.

Once I was in traffic when someone tried to cross me; when I refused he gave GH5 to one of the boys around to help give him way. I still didn’t budge. The driver then rolled down to speak to me, and I saw he was former presidential candidate. I’m glad he LOST.

To be fair I didn’t mind that he wanted to cross; it’s how he did it. First he tried to force his way, and when that didn’t work he tried to bribe his way; then later tried to appeal to me when it’s what he should have done first. Imagine a person like that as your PRESIDENT
