Rapper Edem has waded into the actions of H.E Nana Akofu-Addo’s led government after he was given the mantle in 2016.
According to the rapper, he is not feeling the change President Akufo-Addo promised in his pocket. Edem made this known in an interview with Lexis Bill on Joy FM.
The ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) Spearheaded by H.E Nana Akufo-Addo has been boosting themselves of Free SHS and other changes they have made but it appears to Edem that the change he promised isn’t a reflection of what’s happening currently.
Asked on the President’s performance on the Ghanaian economy, he said, “I am not impressed with how things are happening in my pocket. I want to feel something in my pocket because I am not really feeling it”.
He, however, noted that his government should create an atmosphere for young people who want to do business.
“I think that for me is key. Like for example, the process that someone who does not know people to register a business is tedious and he might want to give up,” he said.
