A fan was forced to eat a humble pie after he lashed out at actress and comedian Funke Akindele in a Twitter banter hours ago.
Apparently, some fans coerced the filmmaker to do giveaways- a practice that was rife when the covid-19 was widespread coupled with the corresponding lockdowns that came with it.
“Stingy Jenifa,” a follower under a post of Funke Akindele.
Responding, Funke wrote: “And I’m not stingy oh. Time just get as e be this days.”
The follower who called Funke stingy was called out for misrepresenting the fact (Funke actually dashed out some money back in December) and he later apologized to the actress.
