Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur Oluwatosin Ajibade, better known by his stage name Mr. Eazi, has declared himself the king of Afro dancehall music.


Mr. Eazi has taken to his page to brag and also to challenge Ghanaian dancehall and afrobeat artiste Shatta Wale. Mr. Eazi shared a video of himself doing some freestyle in his room and also claiming that he is now the best and the king of Afro-dancehall artists in music.

Mr. Eazi was heard saying in his video after he was done doing his freestyle that he is throwing a challenge to artist Shatta Wale. He said he was giving Shatta Wale an ultimatum of 24hrs to reply to him with his own freestyle if not, he declares himself the King of Afro-dancehall.

He took to his page and wrote, “Yo @shattawalenima I am now the King of Afro Dancehall you have 24hrs to reply!! #sekkleandbop“.

In other news, Ghanaian musician, Charles Nii Armah Mensah who is widely known as Shatta Wale will be giving the State of the Ghanaian Music Industry Address very soon. Shatta Wale made the announcement on his verified social media handle on the popular social media platform, Instagram.

According to the flyer he released, the event will be a virtual event and it will take place on Wednesday, June 2. He shared the flyer and captioned it, “Make a date #HYLYF #GOG”.
