Controversial musician, Kwame Asare Obeng otherwise known as A-Plus has on many occasions lamented over the attitude of Ghana politicians.

Kwame A-Plus in his recent post sighted on social has indicated that Members of Parliament only come to the same consensus when it comes to money sharing.

According to him NDC and NPP always disagree over almost everything but never speak against exgratia.

In a post sighted on his Facebook timeline, he noted that he is ever ready to support any party that will promise to end exgratia.

“In fact, we are ready to support any party which promises to end exgratia and all other things that does not serve the best interest of the people,” he wrote.

Every citizen of Ghana retires once in 30 – 40 years, why do parliamentarians who beg for our votes to enable them serve us retire every 4 years, take huge pension and start again the next morning? It is not fair. I know people who take as little as 300 Ghana cedis as pension after working for 30 years.

NDC and NPP always disagree over almost everything but have you ever heard or seen any of them speak against exgratia before?

The trade union Congress must stand up against this. Organized labor must stand up against this. We can’t change Ghana overnight but at least we will start from somewhere. Let’s start with exgratia.

Those who must qualify for exgratia are those who have lost an election and are not coming back to parliament or those who didn’t contest. All those who have won and continuing do not qualify for exgratia. If you take exgratia and decide to come again, you have to refund it to the state.

TPP is ready to talk and vote massively if our demands are met. If not we will vote for an independent candidate and take the election into a second round.
