Antonio Conte joined the blue and black side of Milan in May 2019 after he was sacked from his previous job at English premier league side Chelsea. He replaced fellow Italian manager Luciano Spalletti after he qualify the team to the UEFA Champions League by placing fourth in the 2018/19 season of the Italian league.

After just two years as the manager for the ‘Nerazzurri‘, Antoino Conte was able to win the Italian league title for the club for the first time in 11 years since controversial Portuguese manager José Mourinho won the league and the champions league for the club in 2010.

The reports indicate Conte’s decision to leave the club comes after the board of directors denied his request to make some purchase of additional players to strengthen his championship squad to compete well in Europe next season and to also defend the Serie A title next season.

Sources say the board even told the manager that they would have to sell some players off their roast to raise an amount of 80 million Euros, to beat the ‘deadly’ UEFA Financial Fair Play Policy. This didn’t go down well with Antoino Conte and decided to quit his job as the manager for the Italian champions.

It alleged that the official announcement will be made in a couple of hours time and its stated the manager will be paid 7 million Euros as compensation.

Antoino Conte was the manager of Juventus of which he led the team to win 5 consecutive Serie A titles before announcing his resignation to take the Chelsea job. It’s alleged he might be going back to the ‘Old Ladies’ of Italian football since the team is struggling now.
