Years back, the couple that was the talk of the town was Nigerian singer Davido and Sophia Momodu.
They love affair just like it is now between Davido and Chioma was making the headlines daily.
A few months after God blessed them with a beautiful daughter Imade, confusion and war broke out between them as they had to fight for who takes custody of Imade after Davido called Sophia out claiming she is irresponsible.
Davido accused Imade’s mother of smoking Indian Hemp, and he was eventually vindicated after a blood sample of Imade proved she had some of the Indian Hemp substance in her blood when Imade had gotten seriously ill and hospitalized.
For the safety of his child’s life, Davido tried to move Imade out of Nigerian to Dubai away from the mother.
Knowing Davido’s intentions, Sophia cried out to his rich uncle and CEO of Ovation Magazine Chief Dele Momodu for intervention.

Chief Dele prompted the authorities at the Airport to deny Davido and his child Imade access into the plane and she was returned to her Imade.
Their relationship didn’t look the same after the incident until Davido met Chioma Avril Rowland who bore him a son Ifeanyi.
Davido and Chioma is set to tie knot in 2020 after him and his family officially did their introduction to the family of Chioma in 2019.

However, towards the end of 2019, Sophia and Davido caught up with each other once again when they took the same flight to Ghana in December and photos of the two sparked heavy controversies regarding their love affair as many think he intentionally planned to have some time with her away from Nigeria.
Their little meeting caused an uproar on social media after the two lashed out at each other after Davido claimed to have given Sophia a lift when she also claimed she did not ask for any lift since she was already making her trip to Ghana by herself.
Netizens believe Davido will be making a mistake marrying Chioma and not Sophia because they may have unfinished business together.
