Ghanaian boxer Isaac Doboe secured a TKO victory on his first fight upon his return to the ring after over a year break.

He knocked out American Chirs Avalos in the eighth round of a non-title fight on Tuesday night in the USA.

Dogboe, who took a break from the sport after back to back defeats against Emanuel Navarrete, was dominant and won every round.

He finished the job in the eighth round with a three punch combination and sweeping right which connected with the head of Chris Avalos. This prompted the referee to stop the fight.

The win is huge morale booster for Dogboe, whose aim is to become a world champion again.
