Most Ghanaian actors and actresses are now musicians and TV presenters due to the fact that the Ghanaian movie industry is in a state that movies are rarely produced.

Due to this, most of the Ghanaian actors and actresses have been forced to find numerous ways to reinvent themselves.

Quite a number of these movie stars including Nana Ama McBrown, Kojo Nkansah Lilwin, Akrobeto, Emelia Brobbey, Kwaku Manu have taken up TV presenting and music roles.

However, a section of the public believes that these movie stars are have taken the jobs of TV presenter and musicians.

In their view, they should rather focus on keeping the movie industry alive but Emelia Brobbey, who is now hosting a number of TV shows disagrees with the assertions.

In a recent interview, the beautiful actress admitted that the movie industry has suffered a major setback hence the reason her colleagues are into other ventures.

However, she added that it isn’t true they are taking away jobs from presenters and musicians.

“We are still doing what we used to do. We are still teaching, we are still empowering, and encouraging people because through our shows and music since it’s the same platform. We are still in the same creative space. It’s just one big creative space and I don’t see anything different”, she said.
