Here in Ghana, music lovers expect an artiste to keep releasing solid hit songs year-in, year out; An artiste takes some lil break, and you would hear Ghanaians saying he’s fading, and that his/her time has passed.

Boss of Slip Music and Hitz FM, Mark Okraku-Mantey has disclosed that Ghanaians should stop pressuring Artistes for Hit Songs. Speaking on Peace FM, he said,

“I think here in Ghana we put soo much pressure on our musicians. See, it’s not easy to make hit songs back-to-back like that. I think it’s high time we stop putting too much pressure on our artistes for hit songs.”

Mark continued,

“It’s how we keep on putting pressure on our artistes, and that is why they also keep on rushing to release songs all in the name of satisfying the taste of music lovers.”
