Renowned investigative journalist Manasseh Azure Awuni has made an absurd assertion over the recent act of Mrs. Rawlings at the funeral grounds of her husband J. J Rawlings.
According to the investigative journalist, it is ‘pure witchcraft’ for the wife of the late Jerry John Rawlings, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings to clap her hands during the funeral of her husband per the Akan traditions.

“You don’t need to be an Akan to know that there’s everything wrong with that. Widows are double amputees so it’s pure witchcraft when they clap. It’s impossible to clap without hands so if this widow claps, we should be concerned,” he answered in response to a query by colleague journalist Komla Klutse seeking the cultural appropriateness or otherwise of Mrs. Rawlings’s clapping during the funeral.
