‘Jeje’ hitmaker, Sister Afia has lamented over the fact that she has never been nominated for the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs) before but hope to break her duck as this year’s event draws nearer.
Sista Afia told Accra-based Happy FM that she has been sending her entries to the VGMAs board members for four years now since she came into the limelight but nothing fruitful has come out of it.
“I have filed for awards at the VGMA before. But for the past four years, I have never been nominated for the VGMA awards”. Sista Afia disclosed.
Sister Afia strongly asserted that she hopes to get a nomination and possibly win her first ever award because her management has sent her works for consideration for the 2020 edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Award.
