Following the release of Celestine Donkor’s song Yedawase, which features artists who make secular music, many are those who vowed never to accept the song as gospel and others openly showed their unhappiness over the gospel musician’s decision.
Responding to critics and detractors of her in an exclusive interview with Amansan Krakye on Kastle FM in Cape Coast, Celestine Donkor said that those who were furious at her intentions to collaborate with secular artists have been proven wrong for God.

The intentions of God behind the song that he put in my heart because I listened to God has really changed a lot of people. And that’s all I’m concerned about right now, “she added on Kastle Drive.
“So it really convinced me that the song we made to thank God really served its purpose beyond our imagination, ”she told host Amansan Krakye.
