Former Ghana International Anthony Yeboah, has revealed he had a very good relationship with ex-Nigeria captain Austin Jay Jay Okocha during their time at German Club Eintratch Frankfurt.
The former Black Stars striker, who remains one of the greatest players to have played in the Bundesliga, had a good time with the former BBC African Footballer of the year after the latter joined the Club.
According to Yeboah, the two lived as African brothers and had a cordial relationship until the former left for England.
Jay Jay Okocha however, left the German side a year after his pal(Anthony Yeboah) had left Eintratch Frankfurt to play in England.
“Jay Jay was my boy, I was in Frankfurt and Jay Jay came from the third division, so I took him like a brother because he was also coming from Africa,” Yeboah was speaking to GTV Sports plus.
“So after training we go home together and my wife cook for us and return to training, so Jay Jay is a very good friend of mine.”
Yeboah, 53, spent five years at Eintracht Frankfurt where he scored 68 goals in 128 caps.
