Recently, he appeared onstage in Chicago in the Broadway-bound musical adaptation of The Notebook, based on the 1996 Nicholas Sparks novel.
Sadly, the veteran actor has died. John Beasley passed away at the age of 79 on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, at a hospital in his hometown, Omaha, Nebraska.
The actor and theater founder died Tuesday after a “brief and unexpected illness” at a hospital in his hometown of Omaha, his manager, Don Spradlin, said.
